The Bernic Hotel Could Be Everything You’re Looking for In Manhattan

Hotel & Resort Scott Laird February 22, 2017 There’s a particular point in many hotel stays where guests are compelled to exhale an extended “Ahhhhh!” and think to themselves, “I’d like to live here now.”

At The Bernic, a new-build boutique hotel in Manhattan’s Turtle Bay neighborhood, that moment was the moment I stepped barefoot onto the heated tile floor of the bathroom. I definitely wanted to live there. It was so warm that it could even be felt through the thong-style bedroom slippers provided during turndown service.

Guest rooms are utterly adorable. In addition to the maybe-I-won’t-ever-leave warmed bathroom floors, there’s a host of amenities including Beekman 1802 bath products, and a shower head that fairly melts away the stress of wandering about Manhattan.

Marshall Hotels & Resorts Completes $4 Million Renovation of Fairfield Inn & Suites Atlanta Airport North

ATLANTA, Sept. 7, 2017—Marshall Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel management and services company that operates properties nationwide, today announced that it has finished the $4 million, complete renovation of the 84-room (including 34 suites) Fairfield Inn & Suites Atlanta Airport North. The refurbishment process touched on all aspects of the hotel, ranging from the exterior and public spaces to guest and bathrooms.

“The renovation was a full makeover of the hotel, bringing the Fairfield Inn & Suites Atlanta Airport North to ‘like-new’ status,” said Mike Marshall, president and CEO. “We have incorporated the latest design and technological elements that the brand has to offer. Providing the ultimate guest experience for both business and leisure travelers remains a top priority.”

Conveniently located less than one mile from Hartsfield – Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the hotel is a short distance from such local attractions as Centennial Olympic Park, Turner Field, Martin Luther King, Jr. Historic Site, Georgia Aquarium, Phillips Arena, Zoo Atlanta and The CNN Center. Hotel amenities include a daily, complimentary hot breakfast, newly renovated fitness center, indoor pool and a free shuttle to and from the airport. Guest rooms provide courtesy Wi-Fi access, 32” flat screen television, iron and ironing board.

The top-to-bottom renovation upgraded the building exterior with new signage and paint, as well as revitalized landscaping. The lobby was transformed from a two-story entry foyer into one large, inviting space by eliminating an existing meeting room and including multi-functional seating. Additionally, the lobby was outfitted with a new community table for guests to convene and multiple power outlets. The entire hotel received new carpeting, hard and soft goods. Guest rooms were redesigned with contemporary colors and artwork, as well as new beds, bedding and pillows. Bathrooms received modern tiles and fixtures, and most bathtubs were converted to walk-in showers. The hotel also added The Corner Market, which provides snacks and/or amenity needs, and now offers a “grab and go” breakfast option, as well.

“We listen to what our guests say in an effort to not only provide them with their immediate needs, but also to get ahead of the curve and provide the latest innovations that the hospitality industry has to offer,” Marshall added. “We are confident that the recently renovated Fairfield Inn & Suites will establish itself as the destination of choice for select-service guests to the Atlanta region.”
