Bob McDonald brings 30 years of expertise in the areas of hotel, resort, food and beverage, conference center, community and ownership relations management. He has served as a Regional V.P., Corporate Director of Operations, V.P. of Hospitality Operations, and General Manager of resorts, and branded and independent hotels. Bob has successfully opened, converted, and transitioned properties to strong financial returns, and into award-winning service operations at Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG. He holds a BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Virginia Tech University, as well as a BA in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from the Caesar Ritz College in Switzerland. In addition, he has been teaching for 15 years as a professor of Hospitality Management for the University of Missouri while working full time. Bob is also currently on the board directors at Virginia Tech and a member of Hilton’s Circle of Leadership.
